From September 8 to 11, 2025, the Society for Analytic Philosophy (GAP: Gesellschaft für Analytische Philosophie) will hold its twelfth international congress (GAP.12) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, providing a comprehensive forum for all areas of analytic philosophy under the theme "Pathways to Truth".
GAP.12 will feature sections with peer-reviewed papers, colloquia, book symposia, forums on higher education policy, prize award ceremonies, satellite workshops, an asteroid summer school, and more. The Conference4me mobile app, launching this spring, will assist attendees in navigating the event. Please note that the submission process for the above programme items has already ended.
We look forward to welcoming you to Düsseldorf!
The designs for GAP.12 feature the painting “Hauptweg und Nebenwege” (“Main Path and Side Paths”) by Swiss-born German artist Paul Klee. He created the painting in 1929. Klee taught at the Bauhaus in Dessau (1921–31) and was professor at Düsseldorf’s Art Academy (1931–33) until the Nazis removed him from his position. After his dismissal, the Klee family emigrated to Switzerland.
More information on the painting can be found here; for more information on Paul Klee have a look here. The poster for GAP.12 is available here.
